People are spending more money in Cobb County than expected, according to one measure. Sales tax revenue from the penny-on-the-dollar Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax has exceeded projections by 3.3 percent for calendar year 2011, said Cobb County Schools finance chief Mike Addison.
